My Three Wedding Day Looks
Assembling outfits for my wedding day was one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process. We got married at an outdoor beach ceremony in Tulum, so dressing for the warm weather was my primary focus when narrowing in on my looks.
Wedding Weekend: Welcome Sail
Our first wedding weekend event was a catamaran sail to welcome guests to the Yucatan! Our wedding was in Tulum which doesn’t have any marinas, so we shuttled guests to Playa del Carmen where we picked up our 65” sailboat chartered by Riviera Elite.
Honeymoon Part 2: Costa Rica
After Cartagena, we spent two nights in Medellin, then headed to Costa Rica for a week! It was a decent travel day, with a layover in Bogata then landing in San Jose. We flew in at night, went to pick up rental car.
Honeymoon Part 1: Cartagena, Colombia
After our wedding in Tulum, we spent two nights in Miami to start off our honeymoon. Our next, and first “real” stop of the honeymoon was then Cartagena! It was a quick 2 1/2 hour flight from Miami and then we headed to our hotel, the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, which was a 20 minute drive from the airport.
Bridal and Honeymoon Resort Wear
One of my favorite things to plan ahead of my destination wedding in Tulum was the outfits!
Asking My Bridesmaids!
Since Brian and I got engaged in September, we’ve taken wedding planning very slow. It feels both daunting and exciting at the same time. One part of planning that I was so excited about was asking my bridal party!
Our Engagement
2019 was a special year and one I’ll never forget! My boyfriend of 7 years, Brian, proposed while we were visiting Big Sur. Not only was the proposal itself special, but the entire rest of the weekend was also so fun, getting to call friends and family to share the news. Brian had a photographer hidden on the beach to capture the moment, so we were able to take a few photos together after he popped the question! Scroll through to see some of my favorites!
