Styling a Feminine Black Romper

You know how much I love rompers! My style tends to me more subtle (I've really tried to get more lively!) so I typically gravitate towards neutral tones year-round. I'm also a huge proponent of leveraging pieces you already have in your closet to pull together a look.

On a recent trip to LA with my friend and fellow blogger of West Coast Aesthetic, Allison, we wanted to do a fun California-vibe shoot! Keep scrolling to learn about my look!

I always start an outfit with a statement piece and build from there. In this case, a feminine black romper from Zara that's comfy enough for every day wear!

To keep in the black and neutral tones, I added nude espadrille sandals, a vintage Western purse, black statement earrings and my trusty Ray Ban round sunglasses. You can shop these pieces below!

For hair, I added a bend (by which I mean I fully curled my hair and it fell out - per usual), natural makeup and a flush pink lip.

For accessories, I'm wearing my favorite Daniel Wellington watch and hat from Nordstrom Rack!

I love how transferable this look is - from California up to Spring here in Seattle. All of the pieces can be leveraged in other outfits, making them worth while purchases. Let me know in the comments your thoughts or how you'd style a black romper!
